A pizza company is set to launch several new restaurants across Merseyside all at once. Scottish brand Boss Pizza, founded in 2020 by Ajmal Mushtaq, will relaunch in England later this month, with sites planned in Liverpool, St Helens and Leigh.

The company, which has six sites in Scotland, previously operated stores in Acton in west London, Walsall, Bradford and Colchester, but these have all since closed. Boss Pizza will make its return to England on Saturday, March 28, with an opening on London Road in Derby.

The Derby launch will be followed by openings in Oldham, Sheffield, Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead and Luton, with three more planned for around the Merseyside region. Starting in April, Boss Pizza will begin rolling out sites in Liverpool, St Helens and Leigh.

An opening date for the nearby restaurants is yet to be confirmed. Boss Pizza will be the latest in a number of new arrivals after a slew of chicken companies set their eyes on the city.
