Owner's of Boss Pizza are set to open their doors to customers in the coming weeks as signs appear for the store on Kilbowie Road.

The business currently operates restaurants across the UK with five stores listed as open on their website including Glasgow Gallowgate and Hamilton.

As part of an expansion the chain is opening eight news stores including in Clydebank.

The brand which launched in 2020 claims to offer pizzas up to 40 per cent bigger and 50 per cent more affordable than those of competing outlets.

In a video posted to TikTok, Ajmal Mushtaq, CEO of Boss Pizza, filmed a walk round of the former Papa John's site showing Bankies what could soon be offered.

He said: "Boss Pizza Clydebank will be opening soon in the site of the old Papa John's band in the town centre.

"It's a great location, great visibility on both sides, can't wait. We'll see you soon."

An opening date is yet to be set for the store despite being teased as 'very very soon', however, bosses are already planning a special give away on the day.

To celebrate the event, the store will be offering £2 pizzas for one day only. The options will be either 12" Margarita or 12" Flamin' Chicken.
