Independent pizza chain, Boss Pizza, has launched its latest location in Glasgow, Scotland.

The new store is at 279 Gallowgate and saw over 300 people lining up round the block to take advantage of a special offer for its opening day recently.

To mark the occasion, Boss Pizza was giving local pizza enthusiasts a chance to get one its famous 12-inch Margherita or Flamin Chicken pizzas for just £2 from Noon to 3pm on the day.

One eager customer arrived at 10:30am to secure first place in line.

In a surprise gesture, Boss Pizza CEO Ajmal Mushtaq rewarded his dedication with £100 in cash, thanking him for showing such early support.

This new store helped to create 15 new jobs in the local community.

The brand has since begun to expand with stores opening nationwide.

They spotted a gap in the market for an outlet that produces fresh dough pizzas and their offerings are distinguished by being 40% bigger and 50% more affordable than those of the top pizza brands.

Ajmal Mushtaq, CEO of Boss Pizza, said: “I’m incredibly proud of the team at the Glasgow store for how they handled such incredible demand on opening day.

“We’re also blown away by the response from the local community and can’t wait to serve our new customers for years to come.”

Boss Pizza has built a reputation for using quality ingredients, creating innovative flavours and delivering exceptional customer service.
